keep it fresh.

one thing i love about new seasons is new fashion. and what i love more about new fashion is the sales on the last season’s fashion, especially for fall since the addition of tights, boots, a scarf or a cardigan can easily transition a summer piece.

sadly for my wallet, i discovered joe fresh is having a three day online sale with great pieces that transform or help transition.

these four are currently in my shopping cart waiting for final decisions and checkout, with nothing over $19.94.

joe fresh sale

print crepe dress
i’ve never been much of a fan of spaghetti straps due to the bra situation needed to keep the girls in check, but this crepe dress paired with a belted cardigan (hello, waist) will take care of any exposed bra strap issues created by full support.

ruffle shirt
so it seems diner en blanc has changed me to the core if i’m looking at white items. this shirt is so precious with the ruffling detail without looking too Seinfeld pirate shirt.

ruffle trim dress
more ruffles! i must admit, the ruffles are in some weird spots, but that’s what makes it unique, no? i’ve found myself transitioning out of black to more navy as my favourite neutral. plus, with tan knee boots, this dress is already my go-to fall piece.

deep v cardigan
one of the things i’ve found the hardest to fit properly is a cardigan. they either hit at the wrong spot, or are too baggy, or too tight, or a weird material, or too thick – ouch, i’m really hating on cardigans. this one looks to fit well, and can be paired with jeans, or worn over a great light dress.

what’s your favourite way to transition fashion into fall?
